Sea Cadet/Leaguers Application Forms
All prospective Sea Cadets and Navy League Cadets must apply for the program.
All prospective Cadets must attend a mandatory information session before submitting their application form outlined on the JOIN link above.
Application forms, and registration fees are required to join.

A medical examination similar to a high school sports physical is required for all cadet applicants to be filled out only if cadet is on regular medications.(Page 7 and 8)

Adult Sea Cadet Application Forms
Adult volunteers may apply to the Adult Sea Cadets program. Individuals must attend a mandatory information session before turning in these forms as outlined on the How to Join link above.

Member Information and Declarations (Page 1, 2 and 3)

If active duty military, must also provide a Statement of Service by current command.

Applicants with prior service applicants, must provide a copy of your Record of Discharge (DD214) (Page 4)

Request for Reference (three references are required).

Report of Medical History (Page 5 and 6)

A medical self-assessment. Adult applicants must be in good health commensurate with their age group and be free from any ailment or condition that would prevent them from satisfactorily performing their primary duty of supervising youth. NOTE: Adults not physically qualified to perform all duties may still participate with a waiver from NHQ considering the parameters of their expected contribution to the NSCC program.

Fees
Sea Cadets / League Cadets Fees
The initial cost to join as a Sea Cadet or League Cadet includes a membership fee of $150. Each year on the cadet's enrollment anniversary the membership fee must be renewed. Some locally arranged trainings do have fees and depending on their locations there may be personal travel expenses. All summer and winter advanced trainings have their own fee structure.
Adult Volunteer Fees
The membership fee to join as an Adult Volunteer is $40. Each year on the adult volunteer's enrollment anniversary the membership fee must be renewed. Adult volunteers are exempt from paying for locally arranged trainings and when volunteering for summer and winter trainings, however adult volunteers may incur personal travel expenses for all trainings.
Fee Payment
All fees are to be paid with personal check or money order to USNSCC. For your convenience. Fees are not to be paid until application forms have been signed by the Commanding Officer. Once the CO has signed your application forms, fees must be paid directly. All fees are non-refundable.
